Luke Petherbridge leads the largest operator of logistics real estate in the US and is catalysing innovation across logistics and supply chains. As CEO of Link Logistics, Luke oversees the largest US-focused warehouse and business park portfolio with a staggering 5% of America’s GDP flowing through their buildings. Operating at the critical intersection of consumption, technology, and supply chain, Link’s customers range from e-commerce titans to small family businesses. With the industry undergoing constant disruption, Luke has embraced innovation as a driver for success, and sees Link’s purpose as helping their customers propel the overall US economy forward.
Luke started his career in finance in Sydney in the early 2000s, after studying commerce and economics at Macquarie University. He moved to the USA in 2011, and has built his executive career across a range of major real estate and asset management companies. He joined Link Logistics as CEO in 2020, shortly after the firm was established, leading the growth of the company and its portfolio of over 450 million square feet of logistics real estate in key markets throughout the United States. Luke’s expertise in financial and real estate industries has also seen him take on a range of board and advisory positions, including on the International Council of Shopping Centers and World Business Chicago.
Luke’s professional leadership has also extended into philanthropy. He is passionate about addressing the challenge of childhood hunger in the US, and co-founded the nonprofit CoreGiving in 2016 to do just that. Over the past 4 years, CoreGiving has provided over 40 million meals through partnerships with 60 different food banks and the help of countless volunteers and donors. In 2022 alone, CoreGiving raised over $3.2 million to fund more than 16 million meals for children and families in need, making a significant impact on reducing childhood hunger across the USA.
