Mia grew up in Northern NSW on a small farm before moving to Melbourne in 2016. She is in her final semester of her Bachelor of Community Development, majoring in International Development at Victoria University. She is currently in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on the New Colombo Plan Scholarship where she is spending 6 months studying at university, undertaking 2 internships and language training. Mia’s passions include environmental justice and human rights. She hopes to one day work with community-based initiatives around the world empowering women through climate action, stimulating and pushing for change on a global scale.
