What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that’s all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you’ll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

Identify, understand, and implement best practices for planning, executing, tracking, and reporting research and data analysis, ensuring world-class standards.
Collaborate closely with researchers and analysts to pinpoint gaps in core processes, conducting needs assessments to foster efficiency and collaboration.
Oversee relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with research team needs while adhering to procurement, legal, security, and privacy requirements.
Partner with research leads to explore new tools and opportunities for enhancing workflows.
Develop and document processes, best practices, and templates to standardise and optimize workflow efficiency across the research team.
Enhance tracking and communication of research findings across the organisation, spearheading the establishment and maintenance of a top-tier knowledge management and insight delivery program.
Design reporting structures to measure the impact of research and analysis efforts, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic insights.
You’re probably a match if

You have 3-5 years of experience leading and managing research and data operations within the technology sector.
You have a solid understanding of research and data processes, with a high-level grasp of key methodologies employed in the field.
You have a track record of successfully delivering and maintaining insight knowledge and communication platforms and processes.
You have proficiency in facilitating cross-functional communication and decision-making processes.
You have demonstrated leadership skills, including maturity and emotional intelligence.
You have the ability to exercise sound judgment and exert influence on overall objectives and long-term goals.
You have proven capability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, showcasing exceptional organisational skills.
