Work with the CDEIO as a thought partner to pace and drive the DEI team’s development, analysis, and implementation of priorities, partnerships, and operational needs in support of the mission of the Society and the Society’s strategic plan NG Next
Alongside the CDEIO, provide leadership and DEI professional expertise to the DEI team by advising and supporting DEI team staff members and their projects and initiatives.
Build relationships and provide DEI professional expertise to teams across the organization.
Provide leadership to the DEI team by creating a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Within this group, proactively identify challenges and help coach DEI team members on how best to address DEI issues and matters.
Provide guidance, support and expertise and coaching on topics related to staff engagement, learning and development, and strategic collaboration to the DEI team.
Regularly represent the DEI team at meetings with other NGS divisions, National Geographic Disney divisions, and outside funders/entities.
Regularly collaborate with the CDEIO to ensure that the DEI team’s work is consistent with the team’s strategic vision.
