Meet and Welcome: Australian Ambassador Hae Kyong Yu

This November, ANZCHAM is marking a new chapter in the further strengthening of Philippines-Australia relations. The Chamber will welcome Her Excellency Hae Kyong Yu, Australian Ambassador to the Philippines (pictured on the left) to the community, and we invite you as we celebrate this momentous occasion.

The new Ambassador is a senior career officer of the Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and was most recently Deputy Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo. In Canberra, she served as First Assistant Secretary, Middle East and Africa Division, and held a number of senior roles in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and in the Treasury. Her excellent work will continue as she now leads the Australian Embassy here in the Philippines.

We are excited to be welcoming her as we build upon the continuous success of our relationship with the Embassy in many areas not just of business and trade but also social responsibility. We hope you can join us this coming 8 November 2022, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the Makati Diamond Residences (Gallardo Room) and give her a warm ANZCHAM welcome.
