Together, volunteering their time and vast expertise to help shape a global future for Australia — one that goes beyond politics and borders, driven by people, purpose, and connection.

Kate McQuestin, CEO of Advance Global Australians, said the organisation was uniquely positioned to harness the enormous talent, ideas, skills and networks of the one million Australians around the world to help shape the nation’s future.

"At a time of rapid change, Australia's international connections — and the people who drive them — have never been more critical.”

“The boards’ leadership will be pivotal as Advance Global Australians opens doors, unlocks opportunities, and showcases the enormous capability our wonderful country has and we make the most of opportunities.”

“While election cycles come and go, Advance Global Australians is focused on what endures — the ideas, relationships, and talent that shape Australia’s place in the world.”

“The regionally focussed structure also helps us make the most of the various opportunities facing us in the different corners of the globe — ensuring it is not only connecting and championing Australians globally, but also empowering them locally.

“There is no doubt it is a critical time geopolitically and Australia’s global footprint is powered by the talent of its people. I am thrilled Australians across business, investment, finance, technology, innovation, research, academia and the arts are coming together to tackle challenges, unlock opportunity and strengthen our country’s links to the world.”

“I thank them and all the outstanding continuing board members for giving their time and expertise so generously to help others and advance Australia beyond our borders for the long term.”

“Their leadership strengthens our mission of celebrating Australians, the impact our wonderful people are having worldwide and expanding our fantastic country’s influence across the globe.”

“As we champion the true spirit of mateship: the unwavering bond of mutual support and friendship that unites us, no matter where we are in the world,” said McQuestin.

Advance Global Australians and its partners will be bringing together Australians across the world through a range of meaningful and impactful events, forums, showcases and programs over coming weeks.
