🇧🇪 Belgium
April 24, 2025
- 4:00 PM – Toronto Avenue Cemetery Commemoration Service
Location: Ploegsteert Wood, Comines-Warneton. Toronto Avenue Cemetery is unique as the only all-Australian cemetery in Belgium, containing 78 graves of soldiers from the 9th Brigade who died in the Battle of Messines in June 1917.
- 5:00 PM – Berks Cemetery Extension Commemoration Service
Location: Ploegsteert Wood, Comines-Warneton. This cemetery houses 876 First World War burials, including 180 Australians.
April 25, 2025
- 6:00 AM – Dawn Service at Buttes New British Cemetery, Polygon Wood
Location: Zonnebeke. This cemetery is the final resting place for 2,108 Commonwealth soldiers, including 564 Australians.

Date: April 25, 2025. Attending the dawn service at Anzac Cove is a profound way to commemorate the landings of 1915.
