Jennifer Nason is considered one of Australia’s most successful global business leaders and one of the most senior and influential women on Wall Street. She attributes her career trajectory to a willingness to live outside her comfort zone, a love of constant learning and calculated risk. As the Global Chairman, Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan, Jennifer takes a genuine and innovative approach to leadership in a competitive industry. A leading advocate for gender equality, Jennifer believes being a working mother to four children gave her an advantage career-wise, and is dedicated to advancing opportunities for women in a traditionally male-dominated sector. In addition to being the first female Chair of the American Australian Association (“AAA”), Jennifer is an active member of the Australian Women in New York network, a dynamic group of women of all ages and backgrounds who maintain a connection with Australia. She encourages the promotion of education through her own personal philanthropy and support of alumni programs. 

Jennifer  Nason’s exemplary work includes credit as an advisor on many high-profile transactions. She has been with J.P. Morgan for nearly 34 years having joined the Melbourne, Australia office in 1986. Over the span of her career at the firm, she has worked in the Project Finance and Mergers & Acquisition groups focused on the Natural Resources sector; the Retail Investment Banking client coverage team as Group Head; and for the last 17 years, led the Technology, Media and Telecommunications global client practice, with a focus on strategic M&A, debt and equity financing. She also co-founded and chaired the Investment Banking Women’s Network at J.P. Morgan in the mid-1990s. Today as a Global Chairman of the Investment Banking practice, Ms. Nason is responsible for many of the firm’s key relationships around the world, including IBM, Sony, Telstra, Nokia, Apple and Netflix.
