Dr Catherine T.H. Lee is a renowned craniofacial orthodontist, whose humanitarian work is changing lives in Asia.
An expert in treating cleft and craniofacial conditions, Catherine has an unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare resources to underprivileged children. She leads a multidisciplinary team in Singapore delivering advanced patient care for the region and conducted humanitarian initiatives across the region, aiming to create a positive and transformative impact in the lives of children in need.
Catherine grew up in Malaysia and her family immigrated to Australia during her formative years. She studied Dentistry at Adelaide University and move to Sydney Westmead Hospital to work. She went on to complete speciality training in Orthodontics at New York University, followed by sub-specialty training in Craniofacial Orthodontics with a world class craniofacial team at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU Medical.
Witnessing life-changing transformations and fostering professional growth, her humanitarian endeavours fuel innovative excellence. She operates specialist orthodontics practices in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, staying at the forefront of digital advancements while remaining committed to her work in the field. Catherine is an active member of both the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery and the American Association of Orthodontics, and is also a reviewer of the world leading Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.
Catherine aims to create a lasting global model for cleft care humanitarian effort in underserved areas by collaborating, sharing knowledge, and establishing a sustainable operational framework that can be replicated worldwide.
