Andrew Low is Chair of the Advance Global Australians EMEA.
He is also Chairman of the Australian British Chamber of Commerce, Alpha Entertainment Finance, Cobden Reid Advisory and New Beach Productions and a Director of the Australia Foundation UK, Australian Ballet Foundation UK and the Europe Australia Business Council.
Andrew was previously Chairman of Genea BioMedx, PRP Diagnostic Imaging and of CLSA Australia, Deputy Chairman of Asia Society Australia and a Member of the Australian Takeover Panel.
Prior to becoming a professional non-executive Director, Andrew held a number of senior roles with Macquarie Group in Sydney, London and Hong Kong, including as Global Head of Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment & Technology and Global Head of Financial Services for Macquarie Capital, Head of Asia and then as Chief Operating Officer for Macquarie Capital globally.
He has also been the HK-based Global Head of Investment Banking for CLSA and the Chief Executive of RedBridge Grant Samuel.
He is also the author of We Should Be So Lucky, which delves into the secrets behind Australia's remarkable success — and explains why its relative prosperity and quality of life are not merely a matter of luck.
Andrew is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
