Andrea Della Mattea is a global technology leader working to catalyse innovation and inclusive economic growth in the Asia Pacific region. 

As President at Microsoft Asia Pacific, Andrea is responsible for spearheading the strategic direction and operations of the organisation across 15 countries, driving digital acceleration and empowering individuals and organisations to achieve more with technology. With over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, she is a passionate advocate for inclusivity, particularly encouraging girls in STEM, supporting women in leadership, and enhancing the employability of people with disabilities. Prior to joining Microsoft, Andrea held senior leadership positions at Insight Enterprises & Software Spectrum, where she championed technology-driven business outcomes, digital acceleration, and business empowerment. Andrea’s accomplishments include being recognized as a distinguished alumnus of James Cook University, where she was also awarded an Honorary Doctor of Engineering in 2022, in recognition of her commitment to engineering and service to the university. She also serves on various boards including the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) Board, the Australian Alumni Singapore Advisory Board, the James Cook University Singapore Advisory Board, and the board of Meals on Wheels in Australia.
