Phoebe is in her final year of a Bachelor of Arts at Charles Sturt University, which she has been studying by distance to allow her to work and travel. Her work experience includes a role as production coordinator at Channel 7, and the recent coordination of a major research campaign for YWCA QLD in partnership with a leading natural resource firm, as well as the state and national governments. Phoebe remains an active member of YWCA QLD and will this year design a young women’s leadership program for Year 10 girls, nurturing the partnership with the University of Queensland that she created. Phoebe’s main project this year, however, is developing an innovative program to try and cause a shift in the nation’s relationship with food and cooking. It is in this capacity in particular that she hopes to work with her mentor, Terri, as running a company is an entirely new experience for her!
