Justin spent his formative years in a remote aboriginal community in Queensland, Australia, working in the mines with his father and unpacking boxes at a supermarket. His first exposure to fashion came in his mid-20s, when he worked in streetwear and denim stores across Australia, Amsterdam and London.
Previously a fashion director at Mytheresa, he helped grow the retailer from a small store in Munich to a successful luxury e-tailer generating $130 million in annual revenue. In 2016 he was appointed for a brief tenure as creative director of the Italian menswear label Brioni, before launching his own brand, SSS World Corp – which debuted at Paris Men’s Fashion Week in June 2017. During his six months with menswear house Brioni, O’Shea rebranded the house, remaking its logo and collaborating with Metallica for his first advertising campaign.
After the pandemic hit, he exited SSS World Corp and in 2021 he’s set to focus on his new role as Creative Director at DrizaBone.
O’Shea has effectively established himself as a street-style star on social media, becoming one of the industry’s most recognisable male faces on the fashion week circuit.
