Vice President, Memory Sales

For this Vice President level position, reporting to Head of Sales, we are looking for a driven sales and team leader with a proven track record managing substantial revenue, driving semiconductor sales to tier-1 customers.
Ideal candidates possess strong sales management and executive relationship experience.
This position will be based out of our San Jose, CA office and requires some travel to the S. Korea HQ office.
Samsung is in search of a strong individual to play a critical role leading a highly visible and motivated sales team that generates revenues and achieves individual and organizational quotas.
Bring strong sales leadership and business relationships, and be part of the senior sales management team.
Lead, manage, and motivate a team of account managers to reinforce our employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, high performance, and collaboration.
Work with account managers and the functional team (marketing, technical team, and the sales team in Korea) on regular basis to resolve operational and business issues which may include, price negotiation, contract negotiation, forecast, and PO management.
Provide executive sales leadership with key strategic customers through development and execution of key account sales strategies and direct customer interaction.
Drive the sales process throughout the sales cycle, involving subject matter experts where necessary, to ensure Samsung has the best chance of winning every desired opportunity.
Construct and achieve sales and financial forecasts on a quarterly and annual basis.
Maintain a comprehensive perspective and understanding of our markets, industry developments, customer concerns and economic conditions within which our business operates.
Identify trends that shape our markets and our customers’ markets that lead to new opportunities with current and new customers.
Conduct sales analysis: prepare reports and make presentations to staff, corporate officials, customers and others as required to communicate and facilitate the interests of the company.
Work cooperatively with executive peers to ensure resolution of customer complaints, and sales or service issues.
Meet with customers and attend trade shows and similar activities to understand emerging trends.
Manage the sales and pipeline management process.
