We are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader to be responsible for leading the University’s Research strategy, including research culture, quality, impact, and knowledge exchange. Your visionary leadership will drive forward our Research and Enterprise agendas, co-creating a clear and ambitious vision and plan.

You will have overall responsibility for the University’s submission to external evaluations of research quality and knowledge exchange, including REF and KEF, and the fulfilment of Research KPIs and advancing research and enterprise portfolios in line with our strategy and ambition. As Pro Vice-Chancellor and a member of the Vice-Chancellor’s Executive, you will lead on cross-institutional ventures and make a significant contribution to leadership and achievement of the University’s strategic plan.
