For the last 10+ years, SunPower has been a leading partner to the New Home Builder Channel for solar installations. Much of our success stems from the relationships we have built and maintained with new homebuyers through our Activation Coordinators. The focus of this role is to provide excellent customer service in helping homeowners activate their new home’s solar system.
The performance of our Activation Coordinators has a substantial impact on SunPower, affecting both our profitability and our strategic positioning. We are seeking an outgoing professional to support the SunPower New Homes channel as an Activation Coordinator. It is vital for our Activation Coordinators to educate homebuyers on the solar activation timeline and obtain the required signed applications so that new home buyers’ have a streamlined experience with SunPower. To be successful in this role you will be responsible for setting proper expectations with homeowners on the solar that comes with their new home and initiating the solar activation process, which includes collecting the new homeowner’s utility account info and signed utility solar applications. Having a customer service mindset will be vital when working with internal and external representatives.
