The Head of Policy & Research is accountable for leading AIUK’s expert policy and research programmes on human rights issue areas.

They will be leading and supporting that team such that AIUK has robust policy positions, produces high quality research and evidenced policy analysis, policy positions and recommendations on improvements, additions or developments to public policy that support our goals to win human rights victories and to change attitudes to human rights,

This role will also ensure that our policy programmes work is well integrated into AIUK’s multi-channel campaigning, government relations and media activity, to support maximum policy impact, and into other areas of our work (such as our income generation enabler activity) to support AIUK’s overall success.

The day to day of this role involves working closely with our leading experts, directing, and supporting their work where needed to ensure we deliver high quality and sharply focused policies with the depth to provide maximum impact.
