The General Manager, Program Delivery (GM) will be responsible for establishing and managing an integrated program of work to develop, implement and ultimately construct facilities to support the safe domestic disposal of radioactive waste. These facilities include the National Radioactive Waste Management Facility (NRWMF) and establishing Intermediate Level Waste (ILW) disposal pathway with associated demonstrator projects, will be the first of their kind in Australia.

The role requires an experienced and effective leader who can gain others’ trust and respect and build and guide a cohesive, highly skilled team. Effective collaboration and engagement with a wide range of stakeholders will be a core feature of the role, including working closely with project delivery partners, technical experts, and regulators.
