The key role of the Deputy Commissioners will be facilitating connections and networks across the national skills system, including VET and Higher Education, Migration, Employment and Workplace Relations and related policy areas informing the labour market and economy. They will effectively explore and lead discussion and consultation that examines divergent perspectives and consolidating and influencing these views to inform advice on meeting Australia’s skills and human capital needs and ways to improve economic and social outcomes.
