The COO position requires a highly experienced, motivated leader and manager with a flexible and delivery focused approach to project management, professional education and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role has a number of critical deliverables as well as responsibility for delivery of a number of key strategic projects across various areas of the OTA and the national program for organ and tissue donation in Australia. In partnership with the CEO and other members of the Executive team, the COO is responsible for creating and driving overall operational synergies across the OTA, ensuring cultural alignment and Agency wide best practice initiatives are developed and adhered to. The COO is required to act for the CEO during periods of annual leave and on other occasions as required.
