The Chief Data Officer will promote a culture of transparency, accountability and safe use for government held information. As Chief Data Officer, you will play a pivotal role ensuring the protection of personal information and data managed by the WA government.

As a member of the executive team within the Office of Digital Government, you will support WA’s digital transformation working in partnership with senior leaders across government, industry, and jurisdictions.

The role champions and advocates a whole of government culture of best practice in the linkage, use and management of data and responsible information sharing, including the anticipated introduction of Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing (PRIS) legislation, which aims to deliver better outcomes for Western Australians.
