Climate change and the biodiversity collapse are twin crises and are some of the most pressing challenges society is facing today. At Schneider Electric we are accelerating progress toward a more sustainable future by reducing our operational and value chain carbon and environmental footprint and helping our customers do the same. The Group is now extending its sustainability strategy to embed circularity and address resources and biodiversity challenges. The Group has set Net-zero GHG emissions Science-Based Targets and as such, seeks to procure carbon removals for the residuals emissions it cannot reduce. The Group also made the commitment to net-zero biodiversity loss across its operations, and to zero-deforestation free wood by 2030.

To further support our sustainability commitments, the Corporate Global Environment Sustainability Team is hiring a director to drive its biodiversity, water, and carbon removals programs. The successful candidate will partner internally and externally to define the ambition, and ensure Schneider is equipped to deliver.
