As the head of the Office of Northern Australia, you will lead a branch that is responsible for articulating the Australian Government’s vision for the sustainable and resilient development of Northern Australia, working collaboratively across the Commonwealth, with Northern Australian jurisdictions (Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory), as well as with First Nations, industry and investment partners.

The Office of Northern Australia’s priorities include delivering a refresh of the 2015 Our North, Our Future: White Paper on Developing Northern Australia White Paper on Developing Northern Australia in 2023 to inform future policy settings, and supporting the Northern Australia Ministerial Forum and Northern Australia Indigenous Reference Group, two key advisory bodies in the development of Northern Australia.
