The Security Policy and Governance team is responsible for broader security functions to support the business of DPS protective security including security planning, capability, risk, policy and reporting. The section works with many different APH security stakeholders, including the AFP, the Department of the House of Representatives, the Department of the Senate, the Ministerial Wing Support and other entities within the Parliamentary precincts. Within this section the Policy Team develops strategic frameworks, policy and associated guidance on a diverse range of protective security matters for DPS and APH. For example, the APH Security Policy and Governance Framework, Codes of Practice and other standalone policies and procedures.
