Business, trade and investment relationships between Australia and Germany are an example for global collaboration, or ‘globaration’. Nowadays, globaration is characterised by the tension between geographical distance and timezone challenges on the one side, and advanced communication technologies, complementary assets and like-mindedness on the other side.

A partnership between the innovative German-Australian Business Alliance, the German Australian Business Council and the German Australian Business Women Association, the German-Australian Business Day in 2022 explores the topic of Fostering Partnerships – Curating Networks. The event will explore the transformative impact of effective supply chain collaboration. Join us at McCullough Robertson to hear leading insights from our guest speakers on fostering successful partnerships between industry, research organisations and governments as well as with partners across the globe.

Recent events have caused unprecedented supply chain disruptions and have changed the manner of how humans interact. As organisations rethink supply chains and as remote working becomes the norm, how can we leverage the disruptions to enable positive action and innovation through increased collaboration? The event will address the particular challenges of working across borders (Germany to Australia) and establishing emerging supply chains such as in the hydrogen sector.
