AWNY Celebrates Aussie Women Authors in NYC

Join us for an evening of an engaging conversation with three remarkable female Australian authors at the American Australian Association. Moderated by journalist and on-camera expert Melanie Slade, this event will feature Georgia Clark, Hetty Lui Mckinnon and Skye C. Cleary PhD.

Georgia Clark, a Brooklyn-based author and founder of popular storytelling nights, Generation Women and Erotic Fan Fiction, will discuss her latest books, including Island Time and The Bucket List. Hetty Lui McKinnon, a James Beard Foundation finalist and Chinese Australian cook and food writer, will share insights on her award-winning cookbooks, To Asia, With Love and Community, as well as her role as editor and publisher of multicultural food journal, Peddler. Skye C. Cleary, a philosopher and author who teaches at Columbia University, will explore the theme of authenticity and fulfilling life, drawing on her work in How to Be Authentic and How to Live a Good Life.
