Australia Day: Foods of Significance with Jennifer Wong

FreeAustCham Hong Kong invites you to join our Australia Day celebration with writer, comedian and presenter Jennifer Wong on Wednesday, 26 January, 2022.
Jennifer is a Sydney-based writer, comedian, and broadcaster with Hong Kong heritage. She’s the presenter of Chopsticks or Fork?, a six-part ABC series on Chinese restaurants in regional Australia.
Australia Day is an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be Australian, to celebrate contemporary Australia and acknowledge our history. In this special live-stream event, we will hear from Jennifer about her unique experiences growing up in Australia during the 1980’s/1990’s, the importance of food as a cultural bridge and for building communities, and the fun and misadventures of her comedy and TV career.
