Born Global: November 2021

Hello friend,

What does the opening of Australia’s borders mean for you? This is the question we have been asking our members and the pent up yearning, frustration and optimism are all palpable.

And with the graduation of our first cohort of the NextGen program, open borders mean the next generation of Australians can start pursuing opportunities overseas too. It’s fitting that our postcard this month from seasoned expat, Sonja Vodusek, emphasises the importance of mentorship and keeping a wide network – we couldn’t agree more.

You’ve asked to stay updated on industry developments in Australia, so not to be missed is next week’s Space Town Hall! In this free and interactive discussion, meet the world’s best thinkers and shapers of the space economy, and explore Australia expanding role, and the implications this holds for other industries.

There is so much more packed into this update, including our Annual Survey of Global Australians – share widely please to raise the voice of the Australian diaspora!

‘Till next time,

Johanna Pitman
