AUSSIE HIRERS’ OPPORTUNITY

According to the Insync Network Group Australian Expat Career 2022 Survey, Australian hirers could be missing a golden opportunity to fill roles in a skills shortage, with 80% of Australian expats intending to come home and 70% of expats saying a job will play a role in the decision. POSTCARD FROM SPAIN

Tim Grieve’s global career improving the welfare and resilience of communities was prompted by his early travels to North Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, and seeing the massive impact that basic sanitation can have on improving the health and well-being of many. Rachel Davey has become the first Australian woman to travel to every country in the world! The Melburnian has completed a feat that only 10 other women in the world have managed, with more people having been to space than achieved this undertaking of 195 nations. COP27 BREAKTHROUGHS 

Advance partner, Gilbert + Tobin have written a great summary of the outcomes of COP27, including the agreement on a fund to ‘provide financial assistance to vulnerable nations suffering from climate change impacts’, as well as the areas with less progress which deferred certain issues for 2023.
