Advance welcomes fresh perspective to the board with appointment of Prakash Rajah

Advance is delighted to share the appointment of Prakash Rajah, Principal – Private Equity at The Blackstone Group, to its board of directors, bringing with him a deep connection to the financial world and an expertise in business development.

Rajah’s portfolio companies at Blackstone include Crown Resorts, Australia’s leading integrated leisure and entertainment business, and Nucleus Network, Australia’s leading phase 1 clinical trial business. He was previously with Brookfield Capital Partners (BCP), the private equity arm of Brookfield Asset Management, joining upon its entrance into the Australian Market and working in both the Sydney and New York offices.

Advance Chair, Andrew Low, commented “we are thrilled to announce Prakash’s appointment to the board and excited to welcome his perspective as we continue to grow Advance’s impact across Australia and the globe.”

“His insights into the business environment of multiple portfolio companies, and his keen eye for business development, will allow Advance to increase its reach and continue serving Global Australians,” Low added.

Commenting on his appointment, Rajah said “It’s a particularly exciting time as Advance pivots to digital, embraces a broader global talent pool and establishes programs to support the pipeline of Australians going overseas and returning to Australia.”
