NEXTGEN 2021

Participating in the NextGen Program went beyond my expectations. I would strongly encourage all young and emerging leaders to take part in the program.

Thank you for this opportunity, I got confidence because of this program. As a result, I was able to crack the interview for the company where I am working now. Job hunting is not easy and I have been trying to get a job since I completed my studies and was losing hope but hats off to this program who made me stand on my feet today

Firstly, I wanted to say a huge thank you for running this program and putting all the effort into making it so amazing! I’m very grateful I was able to be part of the program. It was so great to hear from all the speakers, I have learnt so much from them and it definitely helped me a lot to build confidence and go after what I wanted.  I actually managed to get a promotion in the area that I was looking to move to within KPMG in Sustainability and Social Responsibility and this program definitely helped me get there.

A great opportunity to gain insight from Aussies that live/have lived overseas and to learn about their experiences and what they would do differently if they were to do it again. I also learnt that you must invest time in developing your own brand.

I have noticed an interesting trend. All the speakers seem to have the same kind of ‘just do it’ attitude.

I never understood the practical purpose of LinkedIn until hearing from speakers how they had used the platform to connect with professionals in a new country. The program showed me how to shape my personal brand and use it to power valuable relationships.
