In this episode, meet the unstoppable force and visionary founder behind Vietnam’s leading social enterprise KOTO, Jimmy Pham AM, the 2021 Advance Asia Impact Winner.  Jimmy established KOTO (Know One, Teach One) to empower the disadvantaged youth of Vietnam.  For over two decades, he has created opportunities for thousands of youth, through the teaching of hospitality skills. The 2-year program is the critical catalyst needed for trainees to gain work in hotels and restaurants around the country or partake in further study. Jimmy is an Australian who fights for the underdog and celebrates diversity.  He shares how with just 200 dollars in his pocket, he chose to be the change he wanted to see in the world. Jimmy’s life journey is an inspiration, demonstrating that higher education does not define you but compassion can and does!
