2019 Roundtable Luncheon with Leanne Kemp: Sydney

In partnership with the National Australia Bank, Advance was delighted to host a roundtable luncheon in Bistro Guillaume Sydney with Leanne Kemp, 2018 Advance Technology Innovation Award winner, CEO and Founder of Everledger.

Held on the 4th of March, the intimate luncheon was joined by some 20 NAB clients and Advance members who not only were treated to a delicious three-course meal, but were also inspired by hearing firsthand the global experience of Leanne who left Australia for London and founded Everledger – a platform using emerging technology blockchain to bring transparency, trust and provenance for diamond transactions and a range of different industries.

Leanne is a multi-award winner for her achievements in technology, receiving recognitions including Innovator of the Year 2018 at the Women in IT Awards (London) and IBM Champion for 2018. She is also the IBM Board of Advisors – Blockchain, IBM; Member of UQ Entrepreneurship Expert Advisory Panel, The University of Queensland; Member of Better Regulation Taskforce, Queensland Government; Inaugural Member, Global Future Council on Blockchain and Co-chair Global Future Council for Accelerating Sustainable Production, World Economic Forum; and Queensland’s Chief Entrepreneur, Advance Queensland.
