Nathan Rockliff is a Director of Ventura Carbon Limited, a boutique environmental investment firm established to facilitate connections between investors and land owners with clean technology, renewable energy and carbon-reduction projects to develop these markets and assist in solving the problems of climate change. Nathan is a lawyer dual qualified in both Australia (N.S.W) and the UK, and is also qualified in Corporate Finance with the Securities & Investment Institute. Prior to co-founding Ventura Carbon, Nathan worked in a variety of corporate, insurance litigation and personal legal matters at Rockliffs in Sydney, before relocating to London in 2007 where he worked in two London Law firms in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. More recently, Nathan has also assisted Carbon Trade Exchange in developing its trading platform, which has included advising on and structuring a number of its commercial, registry and banking relationship negotiations and the development of its trading rules.
