ANZ Markets is a major participant in the financial markets providing specialist services in foreign exchange, capital markets, commodities, structured derivatives and interest rate services to organisations throughout the world. Within the Foreign Exchange division, we now require a Currency Strategist to provide insightful research to the Foreign Exchange business and its customers.

Major responsibilities include:

Providing analytical support & technical analysis to the Foreign Exchange trading desk & its clients
Generating trading ideas & strategies for the business and its customers
Taking a key role in the development of FX models, analytics and indicators that add value to the FX business
Assist in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

Required Experience:

Degree qualified in a business related discipline with a natural bias towards numbers, you ideally possess a number of years experience based within an FX trading, sales or research environment — having built-up your working knowledge of financial instruments. You possess highly developed oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to think strategically and develop relationships across a wide network both internally and externally. The role demands a strong team player to work within a unique work environment, a person motivated to add value to an already established, successful team.
